Jayantilal Gada of PEN India Limited has decided to move court against the makers of Haseena Parkar, challenging the termination of their contract. Speaking to mid-day, Gada says, "The exploitation rights have been assigned to us."
A public notice issued by the lawyers of PEN states that Swiss Entertainment (presenters of the film) had assigned the exploitation rights of the film at a fixed consideration to the company. Gada's lawyer Ameet Naik says, "We've moved court against Swiss Entertainment."
Swiss Entertainment had alleged through a public notice that they have terminated all understandings with PEN and claimed that Gada was unauthorisedly representing himself as the owner of the film.
