After Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone to appear on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Following Priyanka Chopra's turn on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October last year, Deepika Padukone will be the latest B-Townie to appear on the talk show. Dippy will promote her Hollywood debut, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. PeeCee's fans had criticised Ellen for being "rude" to the actress.

While talking about Priyanka's Hollywood journey, Ellen said, "People were so excited because you are beautiful and can act…" when PeeCee cut in to say, "That doesn't happen often." Ellen continued, "It does happen often, happens all the time, as a matter of fact. I am just complimenting you, like I should."

That's not all. Ellen also commented about Priyanka's Miss World victory wave saying, "It looks like you're unscrewing a light bulb," further adding, "It's a miracle you made it this far."
