"The response was quite amazing as we were able to book around 700 tickets on the very first day. Lot of corporate bookings and bulk bookings are also happening. We are very upbeat and foresee another big blockbuster," he added.
Shashank Raizada, managing director of capital-based Delite Cinema, said: "We had to open the advance booking of 'Talaash' one day earlier, on Sunday, as people were coming and asking for tickets. Actually in reality, we started getting many block bookings almost 15 days ago. Our conventional booking has also been very good."
Aamir, known for his innovative and extensive promotions, chose a unique strategy to spread a word about "Talaash".
For the promotions, this time he has used small screen by making appearances on shows like "C.I.D." and shooting a special show for Star Plus. u00a0
