'PadMan' minted Rs 3.15 crore on its ninth day.
Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor's 'Padman', which started off with a collection of Rs 10.26 crores on its first day, has remained steady by raking in Rs 3.78 crore on its tenth day, too. The film's overall collection till Sunday is Rs 71.90 crore. The menstrual hygiene film saw an upward trend on Saturday and Sunday.
Well, with the release of Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee and Rakul Preet Singh's 'Aiyaary' and Marvel's 'Black Panther' and reduced screens for Akshay's 'Padman', the film has still managed to firmly hold its block.
'Padman' has internationally crossed the opening weekend collections of 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', which is also an Akshay Kumar film. After delivering back-to-back five 100 crore hits in a row, the R Balki directorial is yet to cross the 100 crore mark.

'Padman' revolves around a man who produces cost-effective sanitary napkins for the naïve women living in the remote areas and educating them about its importance. The film also stars actress Sonam Kapoor in a pivotal role. Inspired by the life of Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who found a way to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village.
