An old video of late Bollywood actor Om Puri's 'ghost' wandering outside his Mumbai house and seeking revenge has gone viral after some Twitter users claim it was telecast on an Indian news channel.
The video, which was apparently first played by Pakistan's Bol News, dates back to January 14 this year where anchor Aamir Liaquat claims Om Puri's ghost was seen outside his Mumbai house.
In the purported CCTV footage, a man wearing a white kurta can be seen appearing, which the Pakistani channel claims is Om Puri's ghost.
The anchor Aamir Liaquat claims Om Puri's ghost was seeking revenge against India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
Why Doval, you wonder? A previous report by Bol TV had alleged that PM Narendra Modi and Ajit Doval had planned Om Puri's murder since he spoke in favour of Pakistani artistes after the Uri terror attack.
Though the 'ghost' video is three months old, it has gone viral on social media now as an Indian TV news channel allegedly played the video over the weekend, according to some Twitter users.
Though mid-day could not independently verify this, social media users took to Twitter to react to the telecast.
Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri passed away of a heart attack on January 6 this year at the age of 66 at his residence in Mumbai.
