'Right now, I am a full-time mother and completely enjoying it. I have no time for films. I am on a sabbatical for I don't know how long. Motherhood is such an amazing experience that everything else takes a back seat,' said Shilpa.
Shilpa, who is married to businessman Raj Kundra, became a mother May 21. She was here Tuesday, at an event to promote skin-care line Olay. This was her first public appearance post-delivery. u00a0Talking about the changes the baby has brought to her life, she said: 'Life has changed from being a woman to a mother but it is beautiful.'
But coming back to shape post-pregnancy brings a lot of stress for any lady, says the 37-year-old whose baby fat was evident in a loose white and black outfit.u00a0'There are surely lot of insecurities about your weight, skin and the way you look post-pregnancy. But all this becomes a lot easy when you have good and right advice.u00a0

'There are pressures on every woman but being a celebrity when we are scrutinised every time for everything, the pressure surely increases. But I haven't started losing weight because it is not on my priority list right now. It is my baby and all that is important for him that tops the list,' she said.u00a0Weight loss is more time consuming compared to skin care.
'Losing weight and being in shape requires a lot of hard work, a lot of time, a balanced diet. But when it comes to skin care, it is far easier. I think less is more when it comes to skin. The lesser you do it, the better it looks. That has always been my mantra. 'We are in a time and age when people don't want to see something fake or too overly done up. If you have to look good, you should have good and healthy skin,' said the actress, who turns to her mother when it comes to taking any beauty and health tips.u00a0
