A single film at the marquee can overwrite an actor's fortune. And who know it better than Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who had his first brush with fame post Kahaani. And then came Gangs of Wasseypur that made him a household name. Now buzz is that Nawaz has been inundated with film offers. To be precise, he has 104 scripts currently in his possession.
Nawaz tells us, "After the release of Gangs, I have already had about 50 narrations and I have to go through around 25 hard copies and 29 soft copies that are lying in my inbox. However, I have only given a nod to Ketan Mehta's film and am already shooting for Supurn Varma's project. But if I keep taking on whatever film comes my way, I will disappear after two years. I will do films only on my terms."
While the actor adds that he will keep doing a film like Gangs every now and then, he also points out that his newfound fame has changed the attitude of filmmakers towards him. He recounts, "Earlier I used to try and meet directors but they avoided me and now the story is completely opposite. The same people welcome me. The phone has started ringing more than ever before. In fact, soon I need to change my number as I do not want any distraction."u00a0And in between deciding on his future project, Nawaz says he is looking forward to the release of his next film, helmed by Bedobrata Pain. u00a0u00a0
