Cast: Richa Chadda, Nikhil Dwivedi
Star rating:
Bad boy Munna (Nikhil Dwivedi), whose âbijiness' is making money by threatening people meets bad girl Babu (Richa Chadda) in a police van and before we say baa-boo they are getting 'phyjical' in a bad, oops, bed of tomatoes. From then on there is no stopping the couple from getting into each other's skin, hair, shirts, etc. No, not even the bigger gunda (debutant Damandeep Sidhu), who has the hots for Babu, can keep them apart. Munna and Babu make out every other minute, amidst heaps of vegetables, fruits and bang in the middle of a bank robbery, just before opening the lockers (locker room dirty talk takes on a new meaning here!).
Guess what, when the girl and the boy are not busy smooching and canoodling, they are liberally spraying bullets and using swear words at each other and everyone else who cross their paths. By now, a spate of recent movies based in Dilli and Haryana have been trying hard to educate us that good knowledge of cuss words is mandatory to make you look cool as well as badass.
The climax of the film takes you by surprise but then again better execution could have worked in its favour.
Actually, the premise of this movie had potential. Two selfish and materialistic people suddenly find passion so strong that they can't keep their hands off each other and everything else starts taking a backseat. But unfortunately, the execution (director Navneet Behal) is terribly sketchy and immature. To her credit, Richa Chadda tries making sense of this senseless movie and even manages to look believable at points. Nikhil Dwivedi disappoints as he seems to walk through the role cluelessly, and he urgently needs some voice modulation classes. Damandeep Sidhu as the supposedly vicious but actually moronic villain, is not bad and, in fact, shows promise.
