Food for thought
I am a big foodie and that doesn't work in my favour. As I tend to gain weight easily, I have to workout continuously to stay in proper shape. I feel that I have put on a few kilos in the past few months, so I need to now get back into shape.u00a0
My regime
I enjoy weight training so I do that on a regular basis. As a rule, I work out three days a week for a duration of about 45 minutes. Cardio exercises, weight training and stretches make up my fitness regime. I practice yoga three days a week. It enhances my flexibility and improves my focus as well.u00a0
Water crazy
As a child, I was a champion swimmer representing my school in inter-level tournaments. Nowadays, I don't find much time to go for a long swim. Also, there are very few good clubs close to my residence. But I indulge myself when I am going for a beach holiday. I would like to be an expert scuba diver one day.u00a0
Play time
Squash and badminton are my favourite sports. Both require high levels of energy and provide excellent workouts. I play a few rounds of them whenever I get the time. It's fun playing badminton with the kids in my building.u00a0
No stress on stress
I do yoga now and often. But I am not very consistent with it.u00a0 I love to relax with a nice hot shower post-work. My biggest stress buster is Misty, my pet who relaxes me completely with her love and affection.
