Hobnobs with Clint Eastwood, Dustin Hoffman at Palm Springs
Of late, Manisha Koirala has been travelling far and wide. Laughs the actress who's poised for yet another comeback, "Mumbai remains my first home. But (my boyfriend) Chris lives in Phoenix (Arizona, USA). So I spend a lot of time there." She is glowing after her most recent visit to the US.
While admitting to being with Chris, she is reluctant to discuss marriage plans. "It's too early to talk about marriage. Until I'm sure, I'm not taking the plunge. At the moment, Chris and I are very comfortable with one another. We're both eccentric souls.
Let's see where it goes. Two people can be happy together without marriage. Don't Ness and Preity prove it? And there's certainly no marriage for at least another two years. I've been in a few serious relationships which I thought would culminate in marriage.
They didn't. That's life. I don't want to make a fool of myself by announcing concrete plans until I'm sure about them. Chris is coming to Mumbai in March. That's when people in Mumbai will see us together for the first time.

People call him my first secret boyfriend. But I haven't kept him hidden. He's an American. That's why we aren't seen together."
In good company
In January, Manisha and Chris attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival, where she got to spend time with Dustin Hoffman and Clint Eastwood.
Says Manisha, "Our hostess was well-known film buff and Bollywood aficionado, Therese Hayes. She has a stunning home in Palm Springs that has been the venue of many evening gatherings featuring artistes from India."
Hayes took Manya and Chris to the gala nite of the Festival where she met Dustin Hoffman, Clint Eastwood, Sean Penn and Anne Hathway.
Freida Pinto was also there. I didn't want to come across as a star-struck Bollywood actress. It's not in my nature to stand up and announce who I am. But to be hobnobbing with them was an experience."
At the moment Manisha is thrilled about best-friend Deepti Naval's film Do Paise Ki Dhoop Chaar Aane Ki Baarish where she plays the lead. "Deepti is into post-production. We'll release the film in the next two months."
