Majid Majidi always wanted to tell an Indian story. The Iranian filmmaker, who admires Satyajit Ray's work, feels he is more famous in India than his country. "I got to learn about Indian cinema through Satyajit Ray, the famous Indian film director. It was a dream to make a film in India," Majidi said before the screening of his film, Beyond The Clouds, at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. He added that there are many cultural similarities between Iran and India.
