Madhuri Dixit Nene, who is known for her iconic role as 'Chandramukhi' in 'Devdas', got nostalgic as the 2002 movie completed 16 years on Thursday. The star took to her Instagram account and shared a throwback picture of herself with Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali during the shooting.
She captioned the picture as saying, "Throwback to #Devdas which will always be a film very close to my heart! From working with all the talented actors and technicians to the dances, to wearing some of the finest outfits and excellent performances. It was so much fun to be a part of this beautifully crafted film #16YearsOfDevdas @iamsrk #SanjayLeelaBhansali @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb."
The 2002 romantic drama had grabbed the attention of not only the domestic audience, but it was also well-received overseas with the viewers going gaga over the gigantic beauty. The flick, which was also nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Language Film, also starred Shah Rukh Khan, Jacky Shroff and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. On a related note, Madhuri was last seen in Marathi film 'Bucket List.'
