Like it was for her character in Love Per Square Foot, actor Angira Dhar recalls that finding a home in Mumbai was no mean feat. She says she dealt with heartbreaks before she zeroed in on an apartment recently.
"It's tough to live [in Mumbai]. You have to invest a lot of time in searching for a place. Often people shell out 35 to 40 thousand for a pigeonhole. I almost had a breakdown while trying to find my home. While flat owners look at your caste and religion before saying yes, it's also fairly hard for those in the film industry to persuade owners."
