The project goes on floors in March-April 2015. The musical family comedy stars Pankaj Kapur, Kay Kay Menon, Lara Dutta and Rajeev Khandelwal. Four leading actors and a debutant are also part of the cast. Zee Music will be the quintessential part of the film.
Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi weaves four love stories and shows the life of the protagonists through their own beautiful journeys. As the story unwinds, comical and realistic elements give the film a light-hearted feel to it. Pankaj Kapur for the first time will be seen in a never-seen before, full of zest, die-hard romantic avatar.
On the other hand, Rajeev Khandelwal who took on this role purely on the basis of the story line and strong content, is enthralled to be part of the film. He states, "This film is different from what I have done in the recent past. I am looking forward to be a part of this romantic fun-filled ensemble." Rajeev adds that he has been a big fan of Pankaj Kapur since his Karamchand days and it would be a great honour to share screen space with the veteran as well as the immensely talented Kay Kay and Lara Dutta. Kapoor asserts that the production house is strongly inclined and passionate about music and great music will be an integral part of all the films that come out of their stable.
The production house has also lined up a big star-studded musical from the golden era of the '70s called 'Sitaarey'. This film will star one of the greatest romantic heroes and will commence shoot in Mumbai in July-August 2015. 'Sitaarey' will be followed by a romantic comedy tentatively titled Mumbai Motor Works. With three heart-warming films in the making, the producers aim to provide a pleasing, enjoyable cinematic experience to the audience.
