The actress was to join the cast and unit of her next film De Dhana Dhan in Singapore last Monday butu00a0 requested the makers to book her five days prior to the shoot because she needed some alone time. With the drama concerning her real life, she just needed a break.

A source reveals, "Generally, the main star cast joins the unit for an outdoor shooting stint a day or two before the shooting commences.

But Katrina has been facing problems in her personal life the media speculations about her close friendship with Ranbir Kapoor and the status of her relationship with Salman Khan has been on her mind.

She wanted to take some time off away from it all."
The source further adds, "She has apparently told her publicist and manager to not forward any calls and messages. She wants to stay away from the whole frenzy following her alleged tiff with Sallu. This shooting stint is a lengthy one and she will only return after two months."

Katrina remained unavailable for comment, but her spokesperson says, "She has gone a few days earlier but only because she is shooting for a commercial there."
