Popular television actor Karan Patel, who is known for playing Raman Bhalla in TV show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', lashed out at an entertainment portal for mistaking veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna as Rajesh Khanna on Twitter.
While reporting about Vinod Khanna's health on Thursday, a website mistakenly called Vinod Khanna as Rajesh Khanna on Twitter.
Karan Patel shared the screenshot of the tweet that featured Vinod Khanna's viral photo with the incorrect caption that read, "Legendry actor Rajesh Khanna (sic)"

Karan Patel slammed the website and wrote, "This is the level of entertainment journalism ... one legend 'Vinod Khanna' is mistakenly named as another legend 'Rajesh Khanna' .. #Shame (sic)"
He further added, "#Shame on whoever this person working for #BollywoodTrack ... does responsible journalism even exist ?? one legend VINOD KHANNA is named as RAJESH KHANNA (sic)"
Twitterati, too, mocked the online portal for the goof-up.

Several media reports suggest the actor is suffering from bladder cancer.

In the picture that is doing the rounds on social media, Vinod Khanna looks pale and has lost a lot of weight.
As soon as the photo went viral, fans of the actor started pouring in well wishes on Twitter.
Earlier, Vinod Khanna's family said he has been hospitalised due to 'severe dehydration'.
Vinod Khanna was hospitalised in HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Girgaum, Mumbai on Friday night.
His son, Rahul, had said the doctors are looking to discharge him soon.
"Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he's doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon," Rahul told PTI earlier.
"Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he's been receiving at the hospital and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in," he added.
