Kangana Ranaut hosts surprise birthday bash for 'Manikarnika' director

Last night, Kangana Ranaut hosted a bash on the set of 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' to ring in director Krish's birthday, who turns a year older today. The unit is currently shooting in Jodhpur. It came as a surprise to Krish as he had expected the cast and crew to celebrate his big day today. Kangy played the perfect host and had ordered a large chocolate cake.

The film, based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai, is almost 70 per cent complete. Krish hopes to wrap up the schedule by January. It is slated to release in April.
