Kajol and Ajay Devgn
Ajay Devgn launched the teaser poster and announced the title of Kajol's upcoming film - Helicopter Eela on his social media handles. Helicopter Eela, which was tentatively named Eela, is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and stars Kajol and National award winner Riddhi Sen in lead roles. Written by Mitesh Shah, the film will see Kajol playing a single mother and an aspiring singer. He gave a hilarious caption to the teaser poster and wrote, "She's here, there, everywhere!!! #HelicopterEela is coming on 14th September (sic)."
Kajol had started shooting on this film from January 25th of this year at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri. The unit had conducted a pooja before the camera rolled for the first shot, which had Kajol enacting a scene of returning home. With the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress in the house, there was never a dull moment with her constant banter with director Pradeep Sarkar.

Helicopter Eela is an adaptation of Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play, Beta, Kaagdo (Son, Crow). Kajol is said to be playing the role of a single mother, who is an aspiring singer as well. She was last seen in the Tamil film VIP 2 (2017) with Dhanush and earlier in Dilwale (2015), which starred Shah Rukh Khan.
Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada (Pen) presents, co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Reshmaa Kadakia, Kushal Kantilal Gada, Neeraj Gala and produced by Ajay Devgn, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, Eela is all set to release on 14th September 2018.
