'Shootout At Wadala' has opened to positive response at the box office and to celebrate it's success, its lead actor John Abraham gave the film's director Sanjay Gupta a special gift.
John has gifted Gupta his Yamaha V Max as a gesture of gratitude.
"This I have done only for Sanjay because we share a special relationship. We have been in touch since the time of 'Zinda'. I would surely not do this for anyone else. I would love to gift him another bike, hopefully, if we have another hit," John said on Tuesday.
"I am now a very proud owner of The Yamaha V Max Motorcycle thanks to my hero John Abraham. Can't wait to go on a really long ride on my new beauty. Thank you John. This is the best gift ever. The sweet bike of success :-)"," tweeted Sanjay.
A super excited Gupta posted an image of the bike saying. "This is my new black beauty :)".
The Yamaha V-Max, called the VMAX since 2008, is a cruiser motorcycle made by Yamaha since 1985, known for its powerful V4 engine, shaft drive, and distinctive styling and costs over Rs 24 lakhs.
Meanwhile, Gupta has also announced another project with John. The new film will be an action-revenge saga, which Gupta feels will be totally new for the Indian screens.
"We have already found one (script), but this is not the best time to announce. Yes, we will take the 'Shootout' franchise forward, but before that John and I will be doing another film," Gupta said on Tuesday at John's Mumbai residence.
"We are getting ready for that and it'll be a big action-revenge saga, something never seen on Indian screens. Hopefully, we will surpass Manya Surve," he added.
