Jacqueline Fernandez still from Definition Of Fear
It seems to be a bumpy start for Jacqueline Fernandez, as far as her Hollywood aspirations are concerned. A day after it was suggested that Definition Of Fear - the actor's maiden international venture - may not meet its August release in India, mid-day has learnt that the horror film may not hit screens before October, owing to the pending VFX work.

A source from the distribution team reveals, "The film is being re-cut for the Indian audience. Some VFX work too is pending. Since the movie belongs to the horror genre, it is imperative that the special effects be up to the mark. The makers don't want to rush into a release with a product that they are not entirely satisfied with. While the team was eyeing an August release, it looks like the film will be ready only by October."
The source reveals that Fernandez has been appraised of the development. "She understands the cause of delay. Jacqueline has instructed them not to be hasty, as the quality of the film is her foremost concern." The British thriller has been in the making since 2014. The film's trailer was screened at the Delhi Film Festival in 2015.
