Yash Chopra, who took to direction for the movie after a gap of eight years, passed away Oct 21 following dengue and multi-organ failure.u00a0The premiere was planned to be a perfect farewell to Chopra, who entertained legions of movie buffs through his 40 years in the Hindi film industry.u00a0Amitabh says the studio was done in a magical way just for the premiere.
'The studio floor was converted into a theatre and film projection was conducted there and then. An unbelievable setting of Baroque and modern, tiered as in some prestigious halls anywhere in the world.u00a0'And the film and stand alone theatre built of such period architecture, reflecting the carving original of the columns, and the entire ambience in the style of some old castle in early Europe.
