All you Spidey fans out there, we have some bad news for you. Our favourite superhero is going to die in the last instalment of his adventures. Spider-Man, the alter ego of Peter Parker, finally succumbs to his arch-enemy, Green Goblin, in the final issue of 'Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man'. CS tells you more:

>>u00a0Spider-Man is a fictional Marvel Comics superhero. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko.

>>u00a0The Spider-Man series broke ground by featuring Peter Parker, a teenager who was lonely and felt rejected. Readers found it easy to relate to him. Unlike previous teen heroes such as Bucky and Robin, Spider-Man did not benefit from being the protege of any adult mentors like Captain America and Batman, and thus had to learn for himself that "with great power there must also come great responsibility." That line was included in a text box in the final panel of the first Spider-Man story, but later attributed to his guardian, the late Uncle Ben.

>>u00a0Spider-Man can lift approximately 12 tons, climb on walls and is also very fast and agile. He also has a spider-sense, a 'fifth sense' that warns him for most dangers. It works like a headache.

>>u00a0A day after the 9/11 attacks, Sony Pictures pulled the Spiderman trailers from theatres in which bank robbers are caught in a web spun between the World Trade Center towers.
