The actor's online fans speculated that the double axe that RK is holding might be his weapon in his upcoming film, Brahmastra. Portal seems to have made the actor go through the paces and how. The upcoming fantasy adventure trilogy Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt. This will be the first time that Amitabh, Ranbir and Alia will be joining hands for a project. Television actress Mouni Roy, too, is part of the trilogy.

The trilogy's first part will release on Independence Day, August 15, 2019.
