Salman Khan (who came for best buddy Sajid's wife Wardha's birthday), Katrina Kaif, Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh and Preity Zinta were the only other Bollywood stars who turned up.

Kat and Sallu came and left separately. While Kat made a quick entry and exit, Sallu arrived only at 1.30 am with brother Sohail and sister Arpita but stayed till the wee hours of the morning.

Kareena's boyfriend Saif stayed away (he was down with flu).

Whose voice ranks on the top after Amitabh Bachchan's baritone? Apparently, it's Vidya Balan's. In a poll conducted by a leading marketing agency, Vidya's voice is said to be most preferred after The Big B's.

Fans are glued to a certain ad featuring Vidya and Madhavan. They claim to be allured by Vidya's "sexy and husky voice".

Interestingly, Vidya and Amitabh will be seen together in Balki's Pa along with Abhishek Bachchan. We wonder how Junior B will keep up between two such heavyweightsu2026 er... voices.

Kumar Mangat's film Boond directed by his son Abhishek has been selected for the Rhode Island Film Festival for a screening and also at the Festival Du Nouveau Cinema.

Says Mangat, "Both these festivals are Oscar-eligible (sic). If we win here, we are there at the Oscar this year... This is just the beginning." Khayaalon mein... kyun?
