Saif Ali Khan
After several rounds of delays, Saif Ali Khan's Baazaar is finally set to hit screens in October. Refuting rumours of a spat between Khan and producer Nikkhil Advani, co-producer Monisha Advani says the film - that revolves around the Indian stock market - was pushed ahead to make room for the shoot of Khan's web series, Sacred Games.
"We had to take a break in the midst of shoot to accommodate the filming of Sacred Games, and we were happy to do that. We didn't want Saif to feel that he had to leave one opportunity for another. We finished the Baazaar shoot early this year and moved to post production. Unfortunately, Nikkhil and I lost our mother around the same time. So that delayed things further," says Monisha, who has another big-ticket release, Satyameva Jayate, lined up this month.
