Aamir Khan chose Singapore to kick off the promotions of his Diwali release, Secret Superstar, because he's never visited the country, except in transit. The actor-producer is keen to explore markets beyond US, UK and the Middle East to reach out to newer audiences. Khan visited a local school and shared stories about his life journey with students.

Mr Perfectionist's next stop is Turkey. His last release Dangal (2016) conquered the box office in China and Hong Kong. For Secret Superstar, he is looking at brand new destinations.
