The Movies I Loved Growing Up
The actress picks her flicks..
Home Alone: My brother and I have grown up watching it. We used to discuss how we should secure the house in the night in case robbers break in. I love the Christmas feel the movie has and Joe Pesci is absolutely amazing in the film. I am a sucker for happy endings and this movie makes me feel so warm inside ufffd especially when Macaulay Culkin sees his mom near the Christmas tree!
The Lady and The Tramp: A Walt Disney classic, I still remember this particular scene in which the hero (the cutest dog you have ever seen!) takes his date for dinner and they both are eating noodles and they kiss. It has to be the most romantic scene ever.
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge: At last count, I must have seen the film 987 times! Raj and Simran are perhaps the most lovable couple I have ever seen. The music, the cinematography, the locations, the characters, the pranks, the love story, the dialogues... I remember everything about it.u00a0
Mr India: The invisible man was like... oh my god! The gadgets were so cool and what a delightful score! The scene in which Sridevi acts as Charlie Chaplin still has me in splits, and Annu Kapoor is easily the most lovable editor. How I would have loved to be part of the film!
Andaaz Apna Apna: Aamir Khan and Salman Khan were amazing in it. All the characters were so beautifully written, both my bro and I know this movie by heart and we must have seen this movie a million times.
