Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu in a still from the film.
Taapsee Pannu has played many diverse characters and wowed one and all with her incredible acting chops in films like 'Baby', 'Pink' and 'Naam Shabana'. And while her power-packed characters have earned her many accolades and critical acclaim, the beautiful Taapsee, who refused to get stereotyped, is simultaneously also playing roles that let her explore her funny, romantic side as an actress.
So, after making an impression with her perfect comic timing in 'Judwaa 2', Taapsee is now all set to win hearts again with her brand-new geeky avatar in her upcoming film 'Dil Juunglee'. The gutsy actress, who has been packing punches in some of her previous films will be seen playing a counsellor - Koroli in 'Dil Juunglee'. Ever since the trailer of the film has been released, Taapsee's fans have not stopped gushing about her new look. Replete with spectacles, pastel ribbons and bows, this is the cutest version of Taapsee that one has ever seen on the silver screen.
Speaking about her film and brand-new look, Taapsee says, "I am thrilled to see the way my fans have responded to the trailer. I am glad they are liking my character, especially the new look they are seeing me in. It was a challenge for me, but I knew it would turn out well."
Directed by Aleya Sen, 'Dil Juunglee' is a breezy movie, which is all about love, friendship, bromance that inspires you to love unabashedly, be fearlessly 'juunglee' and to live every moment as it comes.
Presented by Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment and produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani, the film also features Saqib Saleem, Abhilash Thapliyal, Nidhi Singh and Shrishti Srivastava.
The film scheduled to release on February 16, 2018.
