It's Mumbai's beloved God's festival and everyone is quite enthused about it. Ganeshotsav is in full swing, and B-town celebs, too, have been celebrating the festival with great gusto. While celebs like Maanayata Dutt and Arpita Khan brought Ganesha idols home, others like Sonakshi Sinha, Rhea Chakraborty, and recently, Sonam Kapoor who visited those who had Ganesh idols at home or the many Ganpati pandals in the city.
Sonam Kapoor visited the extremely popular and much-loved Andhericha Raja in Andheri, Mumbai. The actress looked lovely in a red Anarkali dress as she prayed to the Lord of wisdom. Check out the photos below:
Sonam Kapoor opted for a pretty red and golden dress and wore her hair in a sleek bun. The Veere De Wedding actress complemented her outfit with golden jhumkas, a red bindi, and minimal makeup. Sonam was all smiles as she offered her prayers and touched the Lord's feet to seek his blessings.

Looks like Sonam Kapoor had a nice time visiting Andhericha Raja!
The actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming film, The Zoya Factor. Apparently, Sonam Kapoor will only be seen wearing red at the film's promotions. This is in keeping with the storyline of the movie, which deals with superstitions and lucky charms. "It was my idea to wear red at the promotions," Sonam told mid-day in an interview.
She further added, "I wanted to do full justice to the story and my role. I thought this was the best way to introduce the eccentricities of Zoya to the audience. The Zoya Factor is about the titular character being considered a good luck charm for India's cricket team at the World Cup. So why not go about the promotions the Zoya way? Also, red is considered an auspicious colour. We're going the extra mile to make sure that luck is on our side, too."
We wonder if Sonam Kapoor wore red for her Ganpati pandal visit for this very reason? Be that as it may, the actress sure looked stunning in her outfit.
The Zoya Factor also stars Dulquer Salmaan opposite Sonam Kapoor. The film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma, and Fox Star Hindi is producing it. The film is slated to release on September 20, 2019.
