Director Anant Mahadevan's next directorial venture is Life Is Good, which was written by late Sujeet Sen. He is keen to take it to the larger audience but at the same time he doesn't want to go for too much marketing to promote it

"Box office success is important, but every movie has its own audience today. It's important to take the movie to our target audience," Mahadevan told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

"Publicity is very crucial for low budget movie, but I strongly believe that excessive publicity is fatal for these kind of movies because people do have much higher expectations in that case," added the director who had directed "Dil Vil Pyar Vyaar" and "Dil Maange More".

"Life Is Good" is based on some of Sen's personal, real life incidents, which he had mentioned in his diary. Some of Sen's works include "Arth" and "Saaransh".u00a0Packed with emotions and high drama, the movie is expected to click with those sensitive movie watchers who enjoyed "Arth" or "Saaransh".u00a0

Jackie Shroff is playing the lead role in "Life Is Good". Mohan Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Nakul Sahdev and Ankit Shrivastava also essay important roles.

Producer Anand Shukla and Mahadevan are extremely excited about their so-called path-breaking movie. It is being made under the Ektanand banner. Though the film is based on real life incidents, it is not a documentary.

"I want to get this movie released at the international level and I am keen to enter it in different film festivals because I think this movie will not only be acknowledged but also be appreciated by the international audience," said Mahadevan.u00a0Mahadevan had won the National Award for the best screenplay and dialogue for 2010 Marathi movie "Mee Sindhutai Sapkal". u00a0
