Dharmendra and Hema Malini's daughter Esha Deol tied the knot with businessman and long-time boyfriend Bharat Takhtani at a private ceremony in Mumbai today.
A beaming Hema Malini and Dharmendra welcomed the groom with garlands as he arrived in a horse-driven carriage. Esha's sister Ahana was seen attending to guests. Cousin Abhay Deol came along with girlfriend Preeti Desai.
Close relatives and few B-Town celebs graced the occasion. The wedding, which took place at a temple, was conducted according to south-Indian rituals.
Amitabh Bachchan was spotted with son Abhishek. With the Sholay trio - Amitabh-Hema-Dharam - under one roof, the ceremony could not have been more star-studded. That the movie's director Ramesh Sippy was also present with his wife only added to the dash of nostalgia.
Still missing in action: Sunny and Bobby Deol who did not attend the sangeet and mehndi ceremony continued to play truant. Sunny is shooting in Panchgani while Bobby is holidaying in London.
Yesteryear stars like Manoj Kumar and Vyjayanthimala were there to bless the couple. While Vinod Khanna was present with wife Kavita, Poonam Sinha chose to bring sons Luv and Kush for company.
Esha's good friend Fardeen Khan also showed up.
The wedding may have been a private affair, but the reception to be held on June 30 at a five-star hotel is expected to have a lot of celebrities in attendance.
