Ekta in a fix over 'Bombay'

Even as she basks in the success of Love, Sex Aur Dhokha, producer Ekta Kapoor's troubles with her next film Once Upon A Time In Bombay have already started. She is facing pressure from certain quarters to change the 'Bombay' in the title of her film to 'Mumbai'. However, Ekta has no intention of doing so. Her film is set in the city of the 1960s and '70s, when the city was still called Bombay and she believes that in such a situation, it would not be correct to change the title of her film. But this explanation has not reduced the pressure on her.

Last year, Karan Johar had faced much flak from certain political quarters because the city was referred to as Bombay in his film Wake Up, Sid. Karan had to apologise to the politicians concerned and even include a disclaimer apology in the beginning of the film, so that screenings of his film are not disrupted.
