Neetu Chandra has a reason to celebrate. Her debut project as a producer, the Bhojpuri film Deswa, has been chosen to be a part of the Indian Panaroma at IFFI in Goa this year. The film is yet to see a release and naturally Neetu is elated.
Speaking about the project that has been helmed by her brother Nitin Chandra, the actress says, "I tried my level best to get a release for my film but not one person came forward to help me. Today I am extremely proud, as it has been selected for such a prestigious platform."
Meanwhile, Neetu adds that she is no longer interested in whether the film recovers the money that she had invested, and says, "The respect that the film has earned is everything that I wanted. Nitin has proved that he does not need my name to establish himself."u00a0
