Salman Khan does not care for awards, but buzz is that the actor was hopeful that he would at least be nominated in the Best Singer category, if not win an award.

Considering that Sallu has been flexing his vocal chords in his films of late, the actor felt he deserved at least a mention.

Apparently he asked his buddies, composer duo Sajid-Wajid, why no one takes his singing seriously.

He was told that only famous singers get nominations and everyone knows how such ceremonies are managed and how awards are bestowed.
