Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were shooting for 'Dragon' in London, which incidentally is also directed by Ayan Mukerji and presented by Karan Johar. However, it is not yet clear if 'Dragon' has been renamed as 'Brahmastra' and instead of a standalone film, it will be made into a franchisee and the tale which is backed by fantasy elements will be told in three parts.
'Dragon' was rumoured to be a superhero film and people are awaiting for on official release from Dharma Productions about the status of the film. There were rumours not so long ago that Karan Johar had purchased the rights of 'The Shiva Trilogy' written by one of India's best selling authors, Amish Tripathi. Karan had also planned another fantasy, period drama 'Shhuddhi', which unfortunately never saw the light of the day. Currently, Ranbir is shooting for 'Dutt biopic' and Alia is shooting for 'Raazi'.
