Deepika to act with Salman?

No, this is not the revenge of the exes. True, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are currently one of the hottest couples on-screen, but that has nothing to do with Anees Bazmee's plan to cast Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone in his next film. Salman has wanted to act with Deepika ever since he saw her in Om Shanti Om. He was much impressed with her performance, but he couldn't talk to her about it due to the cold war between the OSO team and the team of his film, Saawariya. Both films had released on the same date and the clash affected Saawariya's box office prospects. He has been hoping to be cast with Deepika for the past three years. Deepika too had said earlier that Salman is one actor she hopes she'll get to work with soon. Hopefully, Anees's film will bring the two together in a casting coup of sorts.
