Composer duo Sachin-Jigar: AR Rahman's music has been life-changing

Before venturing into Bollywood, composer duo Sachin-Jigar programmed and arranged music for AR Rahman. They say the legend has influenced their work.

"His music has been life-changing for so many youngsters like us - we had never been exposed to the kind of soundscape and arrangements he brought to the fore," says Sachin.

Jigar adds, "Rahman sir has immense clarity. In a certain song, he might play only four chords because he wants to drive a message. He gave us perspective on how something simple could be made complicated and vice-versa."
