Carrie Underwood rocks out to a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The 27-year-old American Idol winner and newlywed belted out song after song through a two hour show.

Fans of Carrie can look to get a better glimpse of the country singer with a just released book, "Carrie Underwood: A Biography" by Vernell Hackett! Ms. Hackett talked about the book, saying, "I found out things that she did in her home town for the local kids. Because I'm an animal-rights kind of person, I love the fact that she's so into helping animals. She's a vegetarian. I love to find out all the things she did about animals and animal rights."
