A handful of Bollywood names has emerged out in support of the makers of 'Lipstick Under My Burkha', which was denied certification by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

In a sarcastic tweet, rapper Raftaar wrote, "Women can't [have] sex, women are pure, they give birth to us - Pahlaj Nihalani. Sir aap ped se tapke lagta hai aur shaunk apke nawaabi hain. Yeh censor wale sir ji ko jis din chanta padega, uska dubstep remix me banaunga (sic)." This is beyond translation.
