Amitahb Bachchan starrer 'Bhootnath Returns is getting decent returns at the box office with the film collecting around Rs 18 crore in its opening weekend

Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Bhootnath Returns' has collected Rs 17 crore in the first weekend of its release. Exhibitor Rajesh Thadani says, "The film had a slow start but thanks to word-of-mouth, the film's collection soared on Saturday and Sunday."

Vishal Anand, operation and sales head, Fun Cinemas says, "After a long time, audiences thronged multiplexes with their kids in tow. Family audiences have been watching the film throughout the weekend and Saturday saw the film's collection jump by nearly 50 percent. Sunday saw nearly 55 percent jump, so we expect the film to do well at the BO."
He adds, "We clocked the highest food and beverage sales over the last three days and created a benchmark of sorts."
Kangna Ranaut's 'Queen' has earned Rs 60 crore over the last one month and the Varun Dhawan-starrer, 'Main Tera Hero', has collected Rs 35 crore in its first week. Trade analyst Vikas Mohan says, "On Monday too, 'Bhootnath Returns' did reasonably well.."
