The trailer of Aamir Khan's highly awaited film 'Secret Superstar is out. The film is a soulful and endearing watch on making one's dreams come true despite the odds. Zaira Wasim, of 'Dangal' fame is seen as a school-girl who aspires to become a singer, but her father is dead against it.
Aamir Khan, plays Shakti Kumar a quirky, eccentric, yet kind-hearted music director and music show host, who later on proves to be a mentor to Zaira. Zaira, loves to play the guitar and sing, but her father is a conservative man who breaks the strings on her guitar. After a pep-talk with Aamir Khan, we see an undaunted Zaira don a hijab and turn to YouTube to sing.

She soon becomes an internet sensation as her songs go viral. The trailer is filled with funny yet emotional moments and features Aamir, in a never before seen avatar.

At the trailer launch event of Aamir's upcoming film 'Secret Superstar', he revealed his secret desire and childhood dream which was never accomplished. Aamir said that as a kid he used to play a lot of tennis. He was quite good at his game, but as his love for tennis affected his marks in school, his parents made him quit tennis and that dream of his always remained unfulfilled.
'Secret Superstar' will feature actress Zaira Wasim in the lead role and Aamir Khan will be seen in a unique appearance. The film is set to release in Diwali 2017.
