The Bombay High Court's stay on Raveena Tandon-starrer 'Maatr' has been lifted. It will now release as per schedule on April 21. The HC, on Monday, passed an order lifting the ban after the producer Anjum Rizvi coughed up Rs 1.5 crore of the loan amount that was due to YT Capital Pvt Limited.
Raju Shah of YT Capital had filed a petition against Rizvi claiming that he had to borrowed a sum of Rs 2.5 crore and it wasn't settled in time. Shah had got an injunction on the film, restraining the release until Rivzi cleared the impending debt.
