Ranveer Singh's 'one-night stand' inspires Ranbir Kapoor

Before taking off on a brief holiday to London with mom Neetu last week, Ranbir Kapoor shot for an ad for a leading innerwear brand. Moving on from its original ambassador Hrithik Roshan, the brand wanted a fun campaign with the Kapoor scion. We hear, the theme matches that of Ranveer Singh's condom commercial.

An insider informs, "It is a quirky ad on Ranbir Kapoor's one-night stand. It's laugh-out-loud funny. As far as the concept goes, there are evident similarities with Ranveer Singh's condom ad, which put the focus on his sex appeal. They [the creative team] have tried to do something like that with Ranbir."

RK, who has been busy with the shoot of Sanjay Dutt's biopic apart from patchwork of Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos', shot for the banian ad at a suburban studio. We hear, he was his unabashed self on set and improvised the scenes. The ad will release next month.
