It's been a while since Bhumi Pednekar shed her inhibitions and glammed up. She was fed up with playing characters from the desi heartland. Pednekar has been longing for a masala film in which she can romance and look uber sexy. While we saw glimpses of it in Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) but if one looks at her upcoming films, she is still far from it.
Despite the obvious makeover, the new improved look is not exactly helping her get what she wanted. But then as they say keep trying. Next in the line-up, Pednekar has Durgavati (2020), Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare (2020), and Takht (2021).
Well, given the power of social media, she has begun using Instagram as a tool to make her fans, followers, and filmmakers realise there's a lot more to her than the Desi characters she essays on the celluloid. The recent one being the Dabboo Ratnani calendar shoot where she pushed the bar and raised the temperatures with her bold photoshoot.
