'Bhoomi' music composers Sachin-Jigar: We'd love to do a song with Sanjay Dutt

Even though seasoned playback singers have expressed their displeasure over the growing trend of actors taking to the mic, Bollywood composers have been more encouraging.

Sachin-Jigar, who are working on the album for Sanjay Dutt's comeback vehicle, Bhoomi, are keen to include his vocals in the film's soundtrack.

Jigar Saraiya tells mid-day, "We'd love to do one song with him, given that he is actively looking into the creation of the music for Bhoomi. We believe that Sanjay will do justice to the track."

The album, says Sachin Sanghvi, will include songs from various genres. "The track will touch on romance, club, Sufi and ghazal to fusion and dubstep. It's an experimental soundtrack."
