This year, actresses have been setting new trends by either donning fresh looks or bringing back some from the 90s. With the summers upon us, we take a cue from the Bollywood brigade and give you a few style tips to incorporate in your wardrobe.
A pop of colour is always a fun option during the summers. Why this work looks for Athiya Shetty is because it's a good way of mixing a feminine look with an edgy one which she does courtesy the metallic sneakers.
One of the fun things to experiment with during the summers is your hair. Actors like Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha are often seen playing around with cool hair dos. What's interesting about this particular hair do is that its a blend of two of the hottest hair trends this season: the half bun and braids. Also, Sonakshi has a certain amount of spunk that you need to be able to pull off a look like this.
Sonali Bendre gave us a fun look recently when she paired a loose striped dress with neon orange kolhapuris. The desi boho look has enjoyed the spotlight on the fashion meter and it's definitely an interesting trend to play around with this season.
A shirtdress is one of those timeless trends that simply don't go out of style. Gauahar Khan wore one with a pair of Oxfords. The comfortable and fuss-free look is an instant go to for this season. Although the sharp lines on the dress and that collar make it look slightly formal, we like how she played it cool with that backpack.
Much like Sonakshi, Patralekha also channelled two of the hottest trends this season which seem to have made a comeback from the 90s with a vengeance of sorts: The choker and an off shoulder top. She did work the look quite easily although a messy bun would have elevated the look quite a bit.
