March on

I try to visit Goa as often as possible as it's a great way to unwind. So I end up going there at least three to four times a year. My last trip to Goa was in March. That's the best time to go because it isn't too crowded. I love to explore the different beaches in Goa. This time around I stayed at Jardin de Ulysse in Morjim which is my favourite beach. I spent a lot of time there. I also went to my favourite resto-bar Shanti on Ashwem beach. I also went to Arambol beach for a fantastic Italian meal.

Goa's glory

I simply love Goa for its beaches, food, culture, all its quaint little houses with the strong Portuguese influence and, of course, the nightlife.

I love the fact that you have people from all across the globe ufffd artists, musicians, international celebrities and regular people, chilling here. The only common factor between all of them is that they all want to relax and have a blast.

This time, since I went with friends, it was a mix of some exploring, relaxing, partying and lots of beach sports ufffd we played football, volleyball, frisbee and swam a lot. I also tried my hand at kite-surfing.

Like always, I also went to the Anjuna flea market as well as the Night market on Saturdays in Arpora. This time I spotted an uber cool pair of funky shorts that I just couldn't resist buying.

Life's a beach

I usually try to visit a new beach every time. On this trip I discovered Paradise beach which is actually past the border of Maharashtra. It was discovered by some hippies and remained a well-guarded secret until recently. It is still pretty virgin and is too stunning for words. The white sand and clear blue water made me feel as though I were in Thailand.

And then again, what's Goa without a little bit of partying? I was also able to recharge my batteries as I boogied into the night.
