Qasam Se Qasam Se that marks the debut of Azim is one of the first ventures to shoot its title track at Kargil, Kashmir. A crewmember revealed, "The verdant landscape impressed not only Usuf Mir, the coordinator, but also the choreographers who then took the decision to shoot there."
But to capture the beauty of the virgin land came with a price. "It was bitterly cold. Lack of oxygen at the higher altitude worsened the situation. It would be so biting cold at times that sometimes even the director, Ashfaque Makrani, would leave the shoot midway to return to the warm climes of the cozy hotel room," said the source.
Interestingly, several jawans watched Azim's shoot with utmost interest and even formed a circle of protection while the shoot was on. Says Azim, "They took care so that we were not disturbed by the localities. Once they even handed us guns post our shoot. We had a good time doing a photo shoot with the weapons and the jawans."
He adds, "We even did some movements on a very narrow wooden bridge. Later we came to know that that the bridge was used by the rival army to cross a glacier and enter the Indian soil. The hotel where we were put up, the rival army had practically reached there during the Kargil war in 1999. Believe me, this song is one shoot that I will never forget in my life."u00a0
