Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap speaks about her short film 'Toffee'

Tahira Kashyap, wife of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, has made a short film on the subject of girls marrying at a young age. Tahira's short film is titled 'Toffee'. This movie revolves around the friendship between two girls and it is filmed in a village. Ayushmann Khurrana has also sung a song in the movie. He has also presented and co-produced the film.

Tahira Kashyap says, "I was apprehensive about the subject of this film because I did not want to make this film with Ayushmann's money. Otherwise, everyone would have doubted my talent and I did not want it to seem like I got this work because of being his wife. So when Mukesh Chhabra got involved in this short film and showed his interest in making it, my courage was doubled. The theme of this film is very serious. This film is about the girls' marriage and their pregnancy at a very young age, which is a very big social issue."

Short film 'Toffee' will be screened soon at a film festival which is going on in Mumbai. Tahira Kashyap will be presenting this film at several other film festivals too.
