A brand new still from director Aanand L Rai's film Atrangi Re, featuring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan is out and the pairing looks so fresh that fans on Twitter are looking forward to seeing their magic on-screen. Akshay Kumar dropped the new still from the film on social media and announced that he has begun shooting for Atrangi Re.
Wrote Akshay Kumar, "The joy brought by those three magic words is unmatched: Lights, Camera, Action Grinning face with smiling eyes. Begun shooting for #AtrangiRe by @aanandlrai. Need all your love and best wishes Folded hands."

Sara Ali Khan, Akshay's co-star, too shared the same picture on her Instagram account and wrote in the caption, "AtrangiRe becomes more Rangeen! @akshaykumar so privileged, excited and thankful to be working with you! [sic]"
Atrangi Re, which also stars Dhanush, went on floors in Varanasi in March, but the shoot was halted when the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown was announced. The team finally restarted production in October with its second shooting schedule taking place in Madurai. The AR Rahman musical has lyrics by Irshad Kamil and is produced by Colour Yellow Productions and marks the first film in which the trio of Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush will be seen sharing screen space.
